Encouraging local students to think critically - and creatively! - about Active Transportation and Air Quality.

Tulare County children in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to create original pieces of art depicting their visions of creative ways we can do our part to improve our air quality and create healthier communities by taking transit, or safely walking, skating, biking, scootering, and similar means to get to and from school. Contest winners will receive a FREE BIKE, along with a certificate of accomplishment and other bike-related gifts, during the December TCAG board meeting. At least one high school winner and at least one K-8 winner will be selected. Runners up may be selected according to sponsorship funding availability.

The deadline for submissions is
the first Friday in November. 
Participating students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade - Please submit artwork that is no larger than 8.5 inches by 11 inches (standard printer paper). Students may complete their artwork using whatever medium they choose (paint, pencils, crayons, digital, etc.).

Please put the following information on the back of the student's artwork:

  • Student's name
  • Student's grade
  • Student's school
  • Parent/Guardian name & Parent/Guardian phone number, OR if artwork is completed as part of a class activity, the Teacher/Instructor's name and contact information may be used*

Please note that if any of the information listed above is missing, or if the artwork is submitted without a completed and signed photo release, the student may not be elligible to win.

*If you are a teacher or instructor and you plan to submit student artwork on their behalf, please obtain photo release from the parents/guardians of your students prior to submission and email a shared folder containing the artwork and release forms to TCAGinfo@tularecag.ca.gov.
