This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) discloses the practices of TCRTA TRANSPORT, operated by the Tulare County Regional Transit Agency (“TCRTA”, “we”, or “us”), concerning information we obtain by and through your use of the TRANSPORT mobile app (the “App”), and through other interactions and communications you have with us (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy applies to the Services and becomes effective as soon as you access or use the Application. This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which this app collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from Users (each, a “User”).
The TRANSPORT App
TCRTA does not collect or store personal information from customers downloading, installing or using the App on Apple or Android smartphones or mobile devices. However, personal information is collected when customers use the App to register for a TRANSPORT account. Payment information is collected when customers sign up to make ticket purchases in the App.
What We Do with Your Information
We may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:
• To respond to questions or comments: Information you provide helps us respond to your inquiries.
• To improve our app: We may use feedback you provide to improve the App.
• To send periodic emails: We may use the email address you provide to respond to inquiries, questions, and/or other requests.
How We Protect Your Information
We follow appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices, and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information, and data stored on our services.
Sharing Your Personal Information
We do not sell, trade, share, or rent User’s personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners or trusted affiliates for the purposes outlined above. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business, the site or mobile app, or administer activities on our behalf such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

Notifications
TRANSPORT may send messages in the form of mobile notifications, SMS messages or promotional content though the App. The App may use location information to display notifications or promotional content. To manage notifications for the Application, go to the notifications area in the settings for your device and select TRANSPORT.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.

By using these Services, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Services. Your continued use of Services following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
